# Custom liquid

**Custom liquid** generates a multi-line text field that can accept both HTML and  Liquid .

Steps

1. In the theme editor (**Customize**), click **Add section**
2. Locate **Custom liquid**
3. Add a custom liquid to the blank field.
4. **Save**

## Section settings

### General settings

### Section padding

* **Top padding:** Customize the top margin of the section
* **Bottom padding:** Customize the bottom margin of the section
