# Heading

The **Heading** block adds a title to a section, with an optional animated underline and a typography preset. Add it inside any section that supports blocks.

### General settings

| Setting                                | Description                                                                                                                                                     |
| -------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Use richtext**                       | Switches the heading field to a rich text editor, so you can style parts of the heading (for example, italics for the underline).                               |
| **Heading**                            | The heading text. Shown when **Use richtext** is off.                                                                                                           |
| **Heading** (rich text)                | The heading text with rich text formatting. Shown when **Use richtext** is on.                                                                                  |
| **Enable heading underline animation** | Draws an animated underline under the words you set to italic. Use the Italic (I) button in the editor to mark the words.                                       |
| **Underline style**                    | <p>3 underline styles:</p><ul><li><strong>Simple underline</strong></li><li><strong>Curve stroke</strong></li><li><strong>Squiggle underline</strong></li></ul> |
| **Underline color**                    | The color of the animated underline.                                                                                                                            |

### Typography

| Setting    | Description                                                                                                            |
| ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Preset** | Applies a typography preset (Default or Heading 1–6) to the heading. Edit presets in **Theme settings -> Typography**. |

### Spacing

| Setting    | Description                                          |
| ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| **Top**    | Sets the space (padding) above this block (0–100px). |
| **Bottom** | Sets the space (padding) below this block (0–100px). |
