The Search page is a vital tool for efficiently finding specific products or information on a website. It displays search results tailored to your query, saving time and simplifying navigation. This feature enhances user experience by quickly connecting users with their desired items, streamlining the online shopping process
Steps
In the theme editor (Customize), open the template selector.
Select Others, then Search.
On the left-sidebar, add Search results
Make necessary changes > Save.
Section width

Stretch width: span the section width regardless of screen size.
Fix width: depends on your page content width in Theme settings -> Layout.
Expand full width: takes up the entire space on the page and it usually resizes itself to fit the size of the screen.
Enable sorting: When enabled, it will display sorting options for arranging products
Enable filtering: When enabled, it will display the configured filter options, allowing you to filter products
To customize filters in your store, you will need the Shopify Search & Discovery app.
This app not only enables you to tailor your filters but also grants you the capability to personalize search results and product recommendations, providing you with greater control over how customers explore and find your products.
Show filter counts: Display the quantity of products when filtering

Products per page
Limit the display of the number of page. Minimum: 4. Maximum: 24
Column per row on desktop
Number of columns to display on desktop computers. Minimum: 2. Maximum: 5.

Top padding: Customize the top margin of the section
Bottom padding: Customize the bottom margin of the section
